AQUARIUS is a PWSC program designed for detailed simulation and optimisation of the operation of linked water and power systems. It can represent reservoirs, hydropower plants, demands and operating rules over daily to seasonal time scales, and is used to test and optimise operating policies under variable inflows and demands.
