Consultancy supported by PWSC on hydropower scheme economic evaluations.
PWSC has worked with EPD Consultants on Sri Lankan projects. In 1989 PWSC determined the optimum role of the 180 MW Mrica hydroelectric scheme within the PLN interconnected system in Java. In 1983 PWSC reviewed the economic viability of the Samanala Wewa hydropower scheme in Sri Lanka. These studies combined detailed hydrological and optimisation modelling with economic appraisal.
