German technical co-operation agency for which PWSC helped frame hydropower evaluation work in Sri Lanka.
In 1985 PWSC prepared terms of reference for evaluating hydroelectric resources in Sri Lanka and planning expansion of the power system as part of a German Technical Co-operation Agency (GTZ) initiative. PWSC subsequently contributed to GTZ funded masterplans and co-operation programmes in Sri Lanka and Peru through work with Lahmeyer International and Salzgitter Consult.
