In 1993 PWSC collaborated with Kennedy & Donkin Power Ltd (subsequently PB Power) on optimisation of conjunctive operation and generation expansion for Tanzanian hydro-thermal power supply systems. PWSC’s models were used to examine least-cost expansion options and supported review of the TANESCO asset register within an ODA funded tariff and planning study.
