German engineering consultancy frequently partnered with PWSC on hydro and power planning studies.
PWSC has collaborated with Lahmeyer International on projects in Sri Lanka, Cameroon, Pakistan and elsewhere. In 1991–1992 PWSC contributed optimisation of project parameters and system operation for Sri Lankan schemes such as Kukule. In 1990 PWSC developed a short-term optimisation model to assess benefits of uprating the K-M hydro complex. Earlier, in 1986–1988 and 1986–1987, PWSC provided operational analysis of multi-basin, multi-purpose water resource and hydro-thermal systems, including the Kinda project in Burma. Joint ventures also underpinned software for management of flows in Cameroon’s River Sanaga.
