Investigation of how model results change when key input parameters are varied.
Sensitivity analysis tests the influence of uncertain parameters such as discount rate, cost estimates, reliability targets or hydrological statistics. By changing one assumption at a time and re-running the model, planners can see which factors have the greatest impact on results and where more accurate data would be most valuable.
