UK consulting engineers supported by PWSC on pumped storage scheme design studies.
In 1992 PWSC assisted Watson Hawksley Consulting Engineers by extending a simulation model of the South West Water supply system and applying it to the planning and design of the Wimbleball Reservoir pumped storage scheme. The work demonstrated the benefits of integrating detailed system simulation with scheme design to quantify operational impacts and energy benefits.
