International development bank for which PWSC has provided expert advice and optimisation studies in several regions.
PWSC has acted directly for the World Bank as well as working on many World Bank funded projects. In 1991–1992 PWSC carried out optimisation of hydroelectric conjunctive operation for the interconnected hydro-thermal systems of the Southern Africa Development Co-ordination Conference. In 1990 PWSC served on a Panel of Experts reviewing hydrological investigations and reservoir operation studies for the Nam Theun hydroelectric project in Laos. Numerous other assignments, including TANESCO and EEPCO masterplans, have also been funded by the World Bank.
